Kylie's International Blog Highlight January 2018

Hi!
Thank you for having a look at today's creation!  I made these cards today for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights, if you enjoy these cards I would greatly appreciate if you popped over to the gallery and voted for me HERE

Our theme this month was "favourite Sale-a-bration or Occasions catalogue Products" and well I do LOVE dragons, and Stampin' Blends (join my Blends club HERE

Today was another one of those days where I set out with one card in mind and a happy mistake meant I ended up with two!

This is the card I started stamping first and after masking and stamping all my dragons I realised I had used archival ink instead of memento so it wasn't going to work for my blends, I sat it aside while I made the other card, then decided to stamp (with the right ink) and die cut another dragon and make it as an easier version of this card.

Quick Card Recipe
* Magical Day Stamp set
Bermuda Bay Card base
* Bermuda Bay Base layer
* Magical Day washi tape

* Stampin Blends in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
* Stampin' Write Markers in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie,  Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry
This is the card that I had in my head from the start! I love how it turned out, I especially love how using the washi on the two different coloured matting layers adds makes them stand apart.

Quick Card Recipe
* Magical Day Stamp set
* Whisper White Thick Card base
* Pool Party Base layer
* Magical Day washi tape
* Stampin Blends in Old Olive, Ivory, Bronze, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
* Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry

CASE-ing Tuesday #130

Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!
Today we are CASE-ing (Copy And Selectively Edit) this card from the current Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue pg 41

 If you would like to play along all you need to do is create your card based on this design, then head on over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook page HERE and add a photo of your finished product to the #130 thread, we can't wait to see your cards, also feel free to share on your other social mediums using hashtag #CASEingtuesday130

I loved the colour and the layout of this card so I decided I wanted to do something with that, I didn't have either of the Designer Papers though (this card uses the Tutti-Frutti 6"x6" paper stack from pg 29 in the Occasions Catalogue) so I decided to improvise with some washi and an embossing folder.
I had nearly finished this card when I somehow managed to smoosh some calypso coral ink onto it - you can see the remnants inside my second O. 😱

Quick Card Recipe
* Good Vibes stamp set
* Calypso Coral Base and embossed layer
* Whisper White cardstock
* Basics 2 Washi Tape
* Water colour Paper
* Aqua painters
* Inks - Daffodil delight, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Tranquil Tide, Old Olive
* Layered Leaves embossing folder
