Flourishing Butterfly

Who’s up for a fun summery card today?  I just love this card inspired by two different Challenges the first was Just add Ink #345 flowers and butterflies (unfortunately I mixed up my dates so the challenge is over) colours were inspired by the Stamp Ink paper #SIP86 colour challenge.

I decided to go with a simple style sketch for this one, the background is created using the Flourishing Phrases Stamp set (141534) in So Saffron (126957), Peek-a-boo peach (141398) and Island indigo (126986) all stamped off once, I just love how soft and pretty the colours are when they are a shade lighter.

The butterfly is made using the larger butterfly in the watercolour wings stamp set (139424) in the same colours on white vellum (106584) and die cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits die (138135). This butterfly is so great, what a quick and easy way to add a bit of prettiness to your cards.

The sentiment is stamped in basic black (140931) on whisper white card stock (106549) and die cut with the Lots of labels dies (138281) The backing card stock is island indigo (124390), (love this colour!).
